DacTasbih does not collect personal data.
The app does not require an account, does not use analytics, does not show ads, does not track users, and does not share data with third parties.
Local Data Storage
DacTasbih stores the following information locally on your device:
- Counting progress and sessions
- User preferences and settings
- Reminders and notification times
- History of completed sessions
- Daily and monthly summaries
This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
Apple Watch Synchronization
If you use the Apple Watch app with a paired iPhone, DacTasbih may sync app progress between your own devices using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework.
This synchronization is:
- Device-to-device: Data syncs only between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework.
- Managed by Apple: Sync uses Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework between your paired devices.
- Automatic: No user configuration required.
No data is collected or stored on external servers during this synchronization.
Permissions
Notification Permission
The app requests notification permission for:
- Optional local reminders at a time you choose
- Target reached alerts when you complete a counting goal
These notifications are generated locally on your device and are never used for tracking or analytics.
What DacTasbih Does NOT Use
DacTasbih does not use, access, or request permission for:
- Location services
- Camera
- Microphone
- Contacts
- HealthKit or Health data
- Third-party tracking SDKs or analytics
- Advertising networks
- External servers or cloud storage
